So in Richmond this weekend, we went to a used book store and I found this great print book. (Beth, it made me think of you!!) Anyway, here are some of my favorite prints from the book that I scanned. I am brainstorming on how to make some art nouveau stuff myself...I am thinking art nouveau meets photoshop, any suggestions?
I am kind of inspired by the printmaking and thinking this kind of imagery would work well in a woodcut print. I am going to patiently wait until I get to school to use the tools there, but I may start carving beforehand.
