Today I wanted to experiment with wax, heat and adhesives (glue, rubber cement). It's called encaustic. I was fascinated by the surfaces these create. The board beneath the gourd drawing is a heating tray which I worked on.Temp experimented as well, but he didn't enjoy it. He's more into construction and flat colors. I am going to try it with my kids!
