Grats on your free donut.
I like the quality of your students' work, particularly the spikey fish. I hope they all make it through the fire.
I created a sweet cycle on our kilns at the high school I teach at. The temperature ramps to 150f then holds for 24 hours then ramps 150 degrees and hour till 1950f then shuts off. So far no explosions and the work is ready on Monday for unloading.
Is your kiln computerized?
in answer to the above question: Ours is not computerized, I wish it was, so we have to bump up the heat every couple of hours, and so on. We do have a timer on it for the bisque, but warming-up, we have to manually turn the heat up. Thanks for the comment!
