There once was mango tree
It looked so nice in the store
Until we brought it home
It was more than we bargained for
Standing 7 feet tall,
at least 4 feet wide
This thing is big I tell you
This fact could never be denied
We tried moving it about
Hoping it would find it's place
We have to give up
The spot only really fits a tall vase
So this poor, big tree will be returned
Much to our dismay
Hopefully finding a better home
A four foot tree will probably be ok.

i'm inclined to say 'pass it on'
we've been looking for a tree
but alas, i know it won't fit
this i can already see
how do i know this truth
so certain, so commonplace
call it esp or woman's intuition
or is it that we (pretty much) have the same place?
thanks for the rhyme and the smile, neighbor
there once was a tree in a bucket
called tall all it's life it'd say, "suck it,"
when returned to the store
it couldn't take anymore
so it jumped off the shelf screaming
"f#ck it."
(sorry, we've been doing papers on explicit lyrics)
Seven foot mango
much bigger than expected
We must return you
This is quite possibly the saddest thing I have ever heard! If I had any poetry talent at all, I would be like your other friends and join in on the slam, but alas, I was not blessed in that way!
Hey look! My actual name showed up! This is a big day for me!
