This is a super random post! But while your at it, it might as well be included that there is no longer a difference between CPR for an adult, child or infant, and the chest to breath ratio has been adjusted from 30 x 2 to 15 x 2 (basically what you are saying). Does that make sense? It is 30 chest compressions, then 2 breaths and so on until help arrives.
I only post this because I, and I am sure other other blog readers are CPR certified. I was re-certified as recently as June 06, and this is a BIG change...thanks for the additional info...
That's really interesting.
I had noticed it even "looked" different on TV. (Not that that is the greatest resource), but I kept thinking the count is off! This explains alot.
How often do you have to get recertified? I haven't been since '04?
